Savior Announcements

Hello everyone!

Savior releases in just 17 days. Wow, less than three weeks left now. We're getting down there. Here's a quick update, and the announcement of a GIVEAWAY.

Starting with giveaway. Savior's wishlists and demo downloads are pretty pleasing, but numbers can be bigger. So, when the game hits two wishlist milestones, I'll give away one copy for each. It will be a Steam Key, and it will be given away on May 15th. Winners will be posted everywhere. Youtube, LinkedIn, my inactive Bluesky will even see this activity. To win, wishlist the game, and comment on a Youtube Short before May 15th. That's it. Multiple comments will be multiple entries. Cool

The other giveaway. The demo has been downloaded over 1,000 times. I'm very pleased with that number, and I have a little something. When the demo hits 1100 downloads, a third copy will be given out for free. This will be a second giveaway, and it may happen after the game releases as well.

Ok, now for the major updates

Update 1.1.0 is considered finished. The changelog is typed, the update trailer is edited, and the update video is currently in the works as well. I'll keep the release date a secret for now, however, you'd be pretty smart to assume it will happen in May. This will, of course, be free, and will kickstart the narrative the game has to offer. I like to think that the initial release is fun focused, and after you get the mechanics down, it becomes story.

Soundtrack

The entire Soundtrack will be posted to YouTube. Currently, all Part 1 tracks are except for one in particular. It's scheduled to go up the day after the game releases. It may be a bit spoilery, so I didn't want to put it up right away. When 1.1.0 comes out, the tracks from that update will be posted. However, there is quite a jump in numbers. A friend of mine is good at making music and asked to help out with a track. I said no, but they had an idea that I figured I would use. We'll see what happens of course.

Update 1.1.0 Contents

Update 1.1.0 will contain the next area, two story mechanics, two new enemies, and two new features. There is not a boss this time, I chose to instead end the update narratively. The next area is a bit different than the rest of the game, but I think players will like it. Anyway, there is another thing happening when the update drops. Savior is a really good game to speedrun, and because of that, I think it is worth providing multiple play styles using custom saves. Please stay tuned.

Update 1.2.0

At this time, Update 1.2.0 is being planned out. It will take a lot of time to release. This next area is huge, and the content additions are also pretty large. I think, to me, it makes sense to start with those content updates, then work on the area. Then again though, we'll see what happens. It's looking like it will be the biggest spot in the game so far, even bigger than the Empire or the Island if you count the dungeons with it. I don't have much else to say. Work will begin on it sometime next week.

Launch Celebration

I'll be staying up until the game releases. I'll even have a bit of a celebration. In my time zone, it will be midnight. That's slightly late for me, but I'll do it regardless. I won't be streaming, but there will definitely be some great photos from me, maybe even some great champagne involved. It's very important to me that I see the game come out. I couldn't do it with the demo, but I'd like to do it with this.

Closing

This is my last article before the game releases. Thank you all. I will have one more article the day before, and one when the game comes out, but otherwise, that is it for me. Please look forward to the release.
